PNP, BFP, and LGU Conduct Safety Inspection at Northern Bukidnon State College
Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon – April 11, 2025 — To strengthen the safety and well-being of both students and personnel, representatives from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Manolo Fortich conducted a joint safety inspection at Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC).
Home to over 3,000 students and more than 300 faculty and staff, NBSC was assessed for fire safety compliance, security, and psychosocial hazards that may affect the academic community.
The inspection team reviewed critical aspects of the campus’ infrastructure, particularly focusing on fire exits, fire safety equipment, and the presence and preparedness of a fire brigade. The evaluation also identified stress-related and social hazards that may impact students’ mental health and academic performance.
